An exciting opportunity for young lawyers is coming tomorrow, at the University of Colorado Law School in Boulder.
CSUSA (the Copyright Society of the USA), along with the ABA's Section of Intellectual Property Law, will present Careers in Intellectual Property Beyond Patent Law, a panel discussion for law students to learn from local professionals about their future careers. Creative Law Network's own Dave Ratner, alongside peers Shirin Chahal and Dave Rein, will help to fulfill the CSUSA's goal of helping others understand copyright law by pulling on the wide breadth of their professional experiences to educate Colorado's next generation of lawyers.
The discussion will take place at the Wolf Law Building, Room 207 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm, and will be FREE for all Law Students.

In exciting RiNo news, Velorama Colorado is looking to return strong, August 17-19 of this year! The unique festival boasts three days of music and art capped by an exhilarating pro cycling race, but still has something to prove. After a disappointing inaugural run, Velorama is looking to abolish many of the administrative shortcomings that marred fan, bicyclist and concert-goer experiences last year. This initiative has led to important changes, including a "more than half" as small festival area in order to help patrons find entrances and exits and create a less interfering, more energetic festival space. While this year's headliners ares still being kept under wraps, last year's included Wilco, The New Pornographers and Death Cab for Cutie.

What do Google, Ben and Jerry's and Creative Law Network all have in common? We all allow dogs in the workplace! According to a Pets at Work survey conducted by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, employees who brought their furry friends to work enjoyed lower blood pressure, lower stress, lower cholesterol levels and were more productive overall in their workplace. Likewise, pet-friendly workplace policies resulted in a greater sense of loyalty in 82% of employees questioned during a Banfield Pet Hospital study.
